Legal Technology Solutions Architect (AI)

Location: Based in any U.S. office: California, Dallas, Denver, Houston, New York, or Washington, D.C.

Annual compensation: $150,000–$200,000, depending on qualifications and operational considerations.

What you will do

• Design and implement information systems and AI-enabled solutions that improve legal and business workflows.
• Develop prompt engineering frameworks and synthetic datasets for reliable AI outputs, testing, experimentation, and proofs of concept.
• Build and maintain internal and client-facing intranet sites with strong usability, accessibility, and professional design.
• Evaluate emerging legal technology and AI tools through pilots, demonstrations, and internal testing.
• Create documentation, playbooks, training materials, and best practices for AI-enabled workflows.
• Collaborate with attorneys, IT, Knowledge Management, and business teams to integrate solutions and support technology adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, data science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of experience in AI prompt engineering, workflow automation, applied technology, programming, engineering, or related technical roles.
• Experience with legal technology, enterprise software, or AI-enabled solutions in a law firm, professional services environment, or technology organization.
• Demonstrated prompt engineering experience, including designing prompts and workflows that produce consistent, high-quality AI outputs.
• Experience with datasets for testing, experimentation, or AI development, including synthetic data generation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI platforms, large language models, or AI-enabled workflow tools.
• Familiarity with web technologies for internal portals or intranet sites.
• Experience developing training materials or conducting technology training sessions.
• Exposure to knowledge management systems, document management systems, workflow automation tools, APIs, data pipelines, or enterprise integrations.
• Programming, database, and web development experience.
