What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable applications and tools for legal workflows and client service delivery.
• Develop document automation, knowledge systems, workflow orchestration, and legal data platform solutions.
• Apply AI, LLMs, NLP, and automation frameworks to improve legal service delivery.
• Translate legal processes into technical requirements, system designs, APIs, and interoperable data models.
• Integrate enterprise document management, practice management, and knowledge systems while meeting performance, security, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate in agile cross-functional teams and contribute to testing, deployment, documentation, training, and rollout.

Requirements

• JD, prior legal practice experience, or equivalent deep legal domain expertise.
• Experience with legal technology platforms such as iManage, NetDocuments, Litera, or document automation tools.
• Familiarity with AI/ML, natural language processing, or LLM-based applications.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, or comparable cloud platforms and modern development frameworks.
• Understanding of data privacy, security, regulatory, and compliance considerations in legal environments.
• Ability to bridge legal and technical domains, apply systems thinking, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Programming experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C#.
• Experience building APIs, web applications, and system integrations.
• Experience with legal workflows, legal technology, or practicing as an attorney or paralegal with technical expertise.
