Security Administrator (Governance, Risk, Compliance)

What you will do

• Review infrastructure designs, enterprise software code, and security policies for vulnerabilities and alignment with security best practices.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on corporate security systems, applications, logs, and physical security systems.
• Investigate security breaches and vulnerability issues, support forensic activities, and collect digital evidence.
• Conduct user activity audits, internal vulnerability scans, and external penetration testing, then help resolve identified issues.
• Review router and firewall access control lists, VPNs, and routing scenarios for security risks.
• Support regulatory requirements, security standards, incident response, and escalated Service Desk incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, plus 5–8 years of relevant experience, including 3–5 years in information security, or an equivalent combination.
• Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification.
• Competence with networking, hardware, software, server technologies, security and server log parsing, and IT security best practices.
• Competence with router and firewall ACLs, VPNs, and complex routing scenarios.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and the two latest versions of Microsoft Windows.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• CISSP or CSSLP certification.
• Experience with SaaS security concepts, application development best practices, Linux, Check Point firewalls, and scripting languages.
