Senior Sourcing Engineer (Liquid Cooling)

Location: Qingdao, China; onsite role with 20–30% business travel within China and the Asia-Pacific region

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end category management for server liquid cooling products, including supplier selection, commercial negotiations, contract signing, and sourcing strategy execution.
• Develop and maintain suppliers for liquid cooling tubes, manifolds, quick connectors, valves, pumps, and control systems.
• Manage supplier competitiveness across delivery, quality, cost, and commercial terms while implementing regional strategic supplier agreements.
• Drive annual procurement cost optimization, lean supply chain initiatives, supplier risk management, and alternative supplier planning.
• Support RFQ activities for hirify.global Qingdao using e-sourcing tools and participate in value engineering and cross-functional projects.
• Lead project transfers and localization initiatives, track supplier performance, and establish a liquid cooling supplier management team within one year.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, manufacturing, materials management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of procurement or supply chain management experience in manufacturing and 3+ years of industrial product procurement and supplier development experience.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings, engineering specifications, and standards.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency required for work communication.
• Strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, supplier relationship, adaptability, and stress-management skills.
• Based in Qingdao and willing to travel 20–30% within China and the Asia-Pacific region.
