NPI Sourcing Engineer

Location: Suzhou, China; up to 20% travel may be required

What you will do

• Represent sourcing in NPI projects and select the most suitable supplier base.
• Drive sourcing workstreams through successful, on-time completion while meeting cost and quality requirements.
• Manage supplier selection, capacity, capability, second-source development, and incumbent supplier implementation.
• Establish sourcing metrics, track KPIs, and develop corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, sourcing stakeholders, suppliers, and management to align project expectations.
• Identify and deliver cost-improvement opportunities through market, technology, and supplier analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, technology, or engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, supplier management, sourcing, or procurement.
• Experience managing complex supply chains and delivering against commitments.
• Experience with global cross-functional cooperation and Phase-Gated NPI processes.
• Good communication skills in Mandarin and English are required.
• Strong supply chain management skills with the ability to drive accountability and results.
