Visiting Nurse Association- Registered Nurse- Home Care- Full Time- Days

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States; home visits throughout southern New Hampshire.

What you will do

• Deliver nursing care to patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex.
• Use the nursing process to assess needs, plan care, provide treatment, and evaluate outcomes.
• Create a therapeutic and caring environment for patients and families.
• Involve patients and families in goal setting and communicate care plans to ensure continuity across settings.
• Recognize and manage rapidly changing clinical situations using critical thinking and clinical decision-making.
• Travel throughout southern New Hampshire to provide home health services.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
• New Hampshire Registered Nurse license or Compact State Registered Nurse license required.
• Obtain and maintain BLS qualification during employment.
• Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance required.
• Consent to a motor vehicle background report.
• Work 8–12 hour days, including day shifts, every other weekend, holidays, rotating coverage, extra shifts, or on-call assignments as needed.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Professional nursing certification upon eligibility or within three years of entering the specialty.
