TL;DR
Business Analyst (Business Systems/Project Delivery): Owning and improving business systems while analyzing, planning, testing, deploying, and supporting new system initiatives with an accent on requirements documentation, supplier coordination, and stakeholder management. Focus on managing end-to-end projects, leading QA and user acceptance testing, resolving systems issues, and supporting the business system replacement programme.
Location: Office-based in Skelmersdale, WN8 9SU, United Kingdom. Ability to travel throughout the UK, Europe, and the US as required.

operates a global vehicle auction business and is developing and replacing business systems across its operations.
What you will do
- Analyze operational needs and translate them into technical and non-technical business requirements.
- Communicate with offshore development teams to create statements of work and design concepts.
- Manage project plans, remote developers, delivery deadlines, and project status reporting.
- Lead QA and user acceptance testing, deployment, early support, and troubleshooting for projects.
- Develop business support documentation and training for relevant teams.
- Support the ongoing business system replacement programme and manage relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Significant experience in business analysis and/or project management roles.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience managing internal relationships and external suppliers or developers.
- Experience designing and managing business websites.
- Experience producing statements of work, negotiating contracts, and controlling costs.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly, work independently under pressure, and communicate confidently.
- Ability to travel throughout the UK, Europe, and the US as required.
Nice to have
- Degree qualification and training in waterfall project management.
- Knowledge of IBM i Series, DB2, RPG, SAP ECC, XML, web services, Salesforce, or app development.
- Understanding of eCommerce and PCI requirements.
- Automotive or auction business experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and internal customer service skills.
