IT Business Analyst

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working with up to 40% of time from home and 60% in the office; standard hours are 9:30am–5:30pm, 35 hours per week, with additional hours when required.

What you will do

• Elicit, document, agree, and prioritize business requirements with project stakeholders.
• Communicate requirements to product delivery specialists and develop business cases and benefits realization plans.
• Research, evaluate, and select information applications, data management solutions, cloud services, and commercial software.
• Support software implementation, user adoption, and the transition of project deliverables into business-as-usual operations.
• Define acceptance criteria, support QA test planning and execution, and guide clients through user acceptance testing.
• Analyze, design, and implement more effective business processes using structured improvement methods and tools.

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst in a business change or project-based environment, including involvement in IT projects.
• Strong analytical and data analysis experience, including requirements analysis, documentation, reports, and stakeholder analysis.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
• Ability to work with clients and senior stakeholders, manage multiple projects, meet challenging deadlines, and prioritize workloads.
• Clear written and verbal communication, strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Business Analysis training or a relevant qualification.
• Experience in a law firm or similar professional services environment.
• Experience coordinating user testing and awareness of software development processes.
• Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, or Azure DevOps experience.
• Experience working within budgets.
