A220 Flight Instructor - Non-Seniority List Instructor (A220)

What you will do

• Deliver initial, recurrent, upgrade, and requalification training for A220 pilots in classrooms, flight training devices, and full-flight simulators.
• Train and objectively evaluate students on A220 normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures, aircraft systems, performance limitations, and general subjects.
• Prepare simulator and ground-training sessions and assist with simulator planning, coordination, and scheduling.
• Maintain required pilot certificates, ratings, FAA documentation, manuals, and instructional currency.
• Complete and submit training paperwork accurately and on time while ensuring course content meets regulatory requirements.
• Support standardization and Training Department improvement activities.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Local basing in the training facility’s area is required, with responsibility for transportation to and from the facility.
• Unrestricted ATP certificate with an airplane multi-engine class rating.
• Previous US Part 121 pilot experience and ability to complete Breeze initial pilot training.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is required.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements, including extended simulator seating, operating flight controls, climbing stairs, accessing flight deck seats and escape hatches, and lifting required equipment.

Nice to have

• Airbus A220 type rating.
• Simulator instructor or line check pilot experience.
• Experience in aviation-related training and in planning, developing, or implementing training programs.
• Experience developing training presentations.
