Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Buford, Georgia, United States 30518; onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

What you will do

• Make 35–55 outbound collection calls per day and interact with customer Accounts Payable departments about payment status.
• Monitor assigned accounts and reduce delinquency, including bringing the 61+ aging bucket below 10%.
• Resolve collection issues, customer discrepancies, short payments, and account adjustments.
• Provide customer service, identify account concerns, and recommend effective resolutions.
• Track account progress and update the company database for weekly aging reports.
• Complete additional tasks supporting the Accounts Receivable Department.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of collection experience.
• Previous experience interacting with customers.
• Strong attention to detail, goal orientation, and problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Accounts Payable experience or knowledge is a plus; Excel experience is also a plus.
