Accounts Receivable Coordinator (Finance)

What you will do

• Post and apply customer payments received through ACH, wire, check, lockbox, and credit card transactions.
• Verify revenue transactions and maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, credits, debits, and account activity.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and support collection activities to improve cash flow and reduce aging balances.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies, deductions, chargebacks, and payment issues with internal teams and customers.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc accounts receivable reports and support month-end reconciliations and audit requests.
• Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, special projects, and cross-functional AR support.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
• At least 2 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Familiarity with standard accounting and finance concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Knowledge of large ERP systems; Oracle experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills, with close attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge, including Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
