Outside Residential Sales Specialist (Pest Control)

Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States; field-based work at customers’ homes and businesses.

Hourly pay: $19.00–$33.00, with potential overtime, incentives, commissions, and performance-based earnings.

What you will do

• Learn and apply company pesticide products to structures according to schedules, safety procedures, and label instructions.
• Drive a company vehicle to customer homes and places of business.
• Call customers to confirm scheduled services and respond promptly to telephone and in-person requests.
• Complete required production forms at the end of daily routes.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and hand tools in clean and proper operating condition.
• Support sales to current customers during route visits.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, write basic correspondence, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and calculate rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
• Maintain licenses and certificates required by applicable regulations.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• Must meet physical, medical, safety, and PPE requirements, including potential use of an OSHA-compliant respirator.
