Accounts Receivable Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop the Accounts Receivable team while managing daily operations.
• Own AR performance metrics, including DSO, past-due balances, collection effectiveness, dispute resolution cycle times, and cash application accuracy.
• Drive cash flow improvements through collections strategies, credit management, and customer payment-term negotiations.
• Partner with Treasury, Finance, Commercial, Customer Service, Operations, and international finance teams on working capital and standardized AR processes.
• Oversee billing, collections, cash application, credit reviews, write-offs, allowance analysis, and internal controls.
• Identify process gaps, resolve complex issues, implement improvements, and report AR trends and recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable experience, including at least 2 years of people leadership.
• Experience managing AR KPIs, improving DSO, reducing aged receivables, and driving cash collection results.
• Strong cash management, collections strategy, credit management, payment-term negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• North American AR operations experience is required; experience with global AR operations and shared services is preferred.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience; OneStream and CMS experience are preferred.
