What you will do
- Collect past-due invoices across an assigned customer portfolio and maintain relationships with key customers.
- Work with Regional Sales Managers, Customer Care, and Sales VPs to resolve collection concerns and keep receivables moving.
- Analyze and improve credit and collections systems, including GETPAID and QlikView, and support implementation of the Infor M3 ERP solution.
- Review and update credit policies, controls, and procedures.
- Perform customer credit limit analyses, review account requests and updates, and escalate negative customer activity.
- Manage the dispute portfolio, including unearned discounts, duplicate deductions, skipped invoices, and open billing issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in credit and collections.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills, with initiative to question processes, improve them, and solve problems.
- Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored immigration support.
Nice to have
- Experience in manufacturing or construction.
- Bilingual Spanish communication skills.
- NACM education or certificate program experience.
