What you will do
- Install, configure, maintain, and document Windows Server environments, including domain controllers, file servers, and application servers.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user permissions, security policies, Hyper-V, VMware, backup platforms, patching, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Administer Azure infrastructure across virtual machines, App Services, storage, networking, Azure AD, RBAC, VPNs, VNET peering, NSGs, load balancers, and subscription governance.
- Own first-line troubleshooting for Azure production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Use Terraform and support Azure DevOps pipelines, CI/CD infrastructure workflows, drift detection, and deployment troubleshooting.
- Monitor resource performance, availability, security, governance, and cost using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights; participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic background.
- 5–10 years of experience in server administration and hands-on Azure administration in a mid-to-large-scale environment.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Hyper-V, VMware vSphere/ESXi, and enterprise backup solutions; Commvault is preferred.
- Knowledge of Azure VMs, App Services, storage, networking, Azure AD, RBAC, backup, subscription governance, VPN, VNET peering, NSGs, and load balancers.
- Working knowledge of Terraform, Azure DevOps pipelines, PowerShell or Bash, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Ability to work onsite in Mumbai, India.
