Industrial Electrician III (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Spokane Valley, Washington, United States

Salary: $36.00–$41.00 per hour, dependent on experience, plus discretionary bonus and stock options.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize motors, starters, variable frequency drives, relays, sensors, and other industrial electrical equipment.
• Configure and troubleshoot PLCs and HMI interfaces to reduce production downtime.
• Maintain and calibrate heat control systems, instrumentation, actuators, valves, dampers, and communication systems.
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, control diagrams, and manufacturer manuals while documenting work in the CMMS.
• Partner with engineering on equipment installations, system retrofits, and continuous improvement projects.
• Mentor apprentice and junior technicians and lead root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures.

Requirements

• Onsite work in Spokane Valley, Washington on the day shift, generally 6:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with occasional weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Extensive industrial electrical maintenance and repair experience, including wiring three-phase motors.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming, including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Omron systems.
• Experience with PID controllers, SCR power controllers, thermocouples, RTDs, 4–20 mA and 0–10 V signals, VFDs, and Fieldbus or EtherNet communications.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying temperatures and environments containing dust and chemicals; frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and climbing are required.
• Ability to operate a forklift, valid driver's license, willingness to supply basic tools, and strong commitment to safety procedures including OSHA, NEC/NFPA 70E, LOTO, and arc-flash protocols.
