Electrician (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; onsite, full-time day shift from 5:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Salary: $34.45–$38.70 per hour plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve electrical systems in facilities and production equipment.
• Run conduit and piping, pull wire, complete terminations, and repair single-phase and three-phase power and control systems.
• Calibrate and configure instrumentation devices and transmitters.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical drawings, P&IDs, factory manuals, and mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic documentation.
• Use and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo controllers, and other industrial automation hardware.
• Document planned and unplanned maintenance work in the CMMS and apply RCA, breakdown failure analysis, cause mapping, and predictive maintenance methods.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least two years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility; food and beverage experience is preferred.
• Typically five to ten years of electrician experience; four or more years of industrial maintenance electrician experience is preferred.
• Experience using electrical diagnostic tools such as Fluke multimeters, ohmmeters, and meggers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, perform measurements and calculations, document work in a CMMS, and resolve problems involving multiple variables.
• Valid driver's license required; forklift and aerial lift certification required or must be obtained.
• Must work onsite in Charlotte, North Carolina, on the assigned full-time day shift.

Nice to have

• Some college or formal technical school education in electrical maintenance.
• Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and chiller applications.
