Electrician (Industrial Electrical And Instrumentation)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, USA (President Island); onsite plant work

Wage: $34.90–$47.29 per hour, based on experience and level.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair operational electrical and industrial equipment.
• Complete work order details and manage parts taken from the storeroom.
• Inspect equipment and verify that guards, control circuit devices, stop blocks, and other safety devices are intact.
• Follow energy isolation requirements and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce breakdowns and improve equipment reliability.

Requirements

• Five years of industrial or commercial electrician experience.
• Journeyman or Industrial Electrician License required within six months of employment.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and electrical issues.
• Ability to read electrical prints and create job layouts for electrical devices and circuitry.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Vocational training.
• Pneumatic control or hydraulic system experience.
• Familiarity with welding equipment and an oxy-acetylene torch.
