Field Service Technician (Construction Technology)

Location: Annapolis Jct, Maryland, United States; field-based work at customer construction sites

Salary: $28.00–$34.00 hourly

What you will do

• Install and service hirify.global Machine Control systems on dozers, motor graders, excavators, skid steers, compactors, pavers, and curb machines.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, hydraulic, electronic, and electro-mechanical systems to improve machine accuracy and performance.
• Research technical issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Provide pre- and post-sale technical support to customers and sales teams through site visits, phone, email, and remote support tools.
• Represent hirify.global professionally at customer jobsites and build long-term customer relationships.
• Work outdoors in varied conditions and travel as needed, typically returning home most weekends.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, including comfort troubleshooting hydraulic, electronic, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Customer-first approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
• Intermediate computer skills for software navigation, diagnostics, and documentation.
• Ability to climb onto large equipment and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel.
• High school diploma or trade school education preferred; experience with heavy equipment, construction machinery, automotive, diesel, electrical, or mechanical systems is relevant.

• Experience installing machine control systems.
