Revenue Manager (Fintech)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States; hybrid office attendance

Salary: $135,000–$160,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition under ASC 606, including contract review, deferred revenue schedules, and journal entries.
• Manage the billing lifecycle from contracts and orders through invoicing across Salesforce and downstream systems.
• Design scalable billing processes, controls, reconciliations, and automation for growing transaction volumes.
• Partner with RevOps, Engineering, Sales, Legal, Product, and external auditors on revenue data and contract treatment.
• Lead technical accounting research, memo preparation, audit schedules, and policy documentation.
• Partner with the Controller on implementing a new ERP across multiple entities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience focused on revenue recognition and billing, ideally in SaaS or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition practices.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/CPQ platforms and billing or revenue systems.
• Experience with system implementations, SQL, databases, revenue systems, reconciliations, and large data sets.
• Strong Excel, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; experience managing or mentoring staff.
