Material Planner Supervisor (Automotive)

What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of supply planners, organizing workloads by stock-keeping units and suppliers.
• Define and continuously monitor material supply schedules based on production requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and communicate critical issues to mitigate delays.
• Manage raw material inventory and stock levels to prevent stockouts and production stoppages.
• Analyze safety stock depletion and other critical supply issues, determining and coordinating corrective actions.
• Track management indicators with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams and improve material management processes and information flows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, including material planning.
• Previous experience in a managerial position with strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience with SAP ERP, inventory control, production planning, and supplier management.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
