Oil and Gas Designer/EIT (MicroStation/AutoCAD)

Location: Rosemont, Illinois, United States; full-time role with project meetings and site visits as needed.

Salary: $74,426–$108,284 per year.

What you will do

• Support design efforts for pipelines and facility layouts.
• Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Review design standards and verify compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Perform quality checks, review vendor drawings, and develop procurement specifications.
• Contribute to bid evaluations, conceptual design studies, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, vendors, and construction participants during project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Active participation in an employee-owned, collaborative culture.
• Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Experience with civil engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation, Autodesk InfraWorks, Civil 3D, and specialty platforms such as OpenFlows as required.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate preferred. Candidates hired without an EIT will receive the title Coordinator and are expected to obtain the certificate for career progression.
