Engineer/Engineering Technologist/Transmission SCADA Engineering (SCADA)

Location: On site in New Albany, Ohio, or Tulsa, Oklahoma

Salary: $84,000–$90,000 for SG6; $89,000–$110,000 for SG7.

What you will do

• Identify issues with engineering processes and tools and propose solutions.
• Complete complex RPA and RTU configurations involving new and legacy systems.
• Configure alarms and basic I/O 2411 settings for greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Support stakeholders with common SCADA-related issues and assist with SCADA compliance activities.
• Coordinate routine engineering activities and provide training and guidance to lower-level employees.
• Contribute to project cost forecasting, process improvements, and engineering recommendations.

Requirements

• For SG6: bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology, preferably from an ABET-accredited program; suitable for new graduates.
• For SG7: bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology plus two or more years of related engineering experience, or a qualifying master's degree.
• Engineering technology graduates may need a certified Professional Engineering license to satisfy the degree requirement.
• Ability to apply engineering theory, analytical techniques, and problem-solving skills to routine and moderately complex assignments.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems, RTU configuration, RPA, alarms, I/O settings, and communication technologies is required for the work.
• Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering examination is encouraged and preferred.
