What you will do

• Review and approve SCADA system designs, communication architectures, and I/O schematics.
• Configure and test SCADA devices including RTUs, HMIs, and data concentrators.
• Lead the design of metering schemes for Solar, BESS, and Wind plants according to interconnection and power purchasing agreements.
• Coordinate with in-house and third-party teams to ensure proper installation and connection of revenue meters to the hirify.global platform.
• Perform QA/QC on output meter data to ensure reliability for generation forecasts and reporting.
• Support on-site commissioning and point-to-point testing of substation SCADA systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in utilities or Power System SCADA.
• Proficiency with DNP3, Ethernet, IP Networks, Modbus, OPC/UA, and SEL protocols.
• Experience with field-level system integration, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel to support the commissioning team.

Nice to have

• Experience with GE, EATON, or SEL SCADA platforms.
• Knowledge of IEC 61850 implementation and Inductive Automation Ignition platform.
• Familiarity with Itron MV90xi meter data management software.
• Skills in data visualization tools such as GIS and Python.
