Senior Staff Product Manager, Workforce Planning (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, or San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $205,500–$278,000 in Mountain View; $189,500–$256,000 in San Diego, plus potential bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for workforce planning data, analytics, reporting, governance, and technology.
• Own headcount and requisition data models, forecasting inputs, organizational effectiveness measures, and leadership insights.
• Lead cross-functional delivery across data products, data science, analytics, HR, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Biz Ops, and business teams.
• Translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements, sequencing decisions, backlogs, and delivery plans.
• Establish shared definitions, data standards, quality measures, and a single source of truth for workforce planning.
• Scope AI-enabled capabilities such as conversational workforce-data access and agentic workflows, including governance, evaluation, and measurement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience across People Analytics and/or Workforce Planning, with ownership of related data, models, and technology.
• Product management experience owning roadmaps, backlogs, and delivery for data, analytics, or planning products.
• Hands-on experience with headcount, attrition, hiring, scenario, and workforce planning models, including translating financial envelopes into headcount.
• Experience implementing workforce planning or HR technology end to end; working knowledge of Workday, Avature, or comparable systems.
• Experience with data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and access and trust models for sensitive workforce data.
• Technical depth in SQL, data models, pipelines, architecture discussions, and AI-native or agentic experiences.
