Technical Product Manager - Data (AI)

Location: Hybrid work in San Francisco, Scottsdale, Chicago, or New York; candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.

Salary: $128,000–$170,000 per year in San Francisco; $106,000–$142,000 per year in Phoenix, AZ.

What you will do

• Define and deliver the roadmap and technical requirements for enterprise data and analytics capabilities.
• Translate stakeholder and internal data-consumer needs into product enhancements, data-processing requirements, reporting, and analytics use cases.
• Establish success metrics, improve data accessibility, and support activation of data-driven use cases.
• Integrate data quality standards, governance policies, lineage, metadata management, risk controls, and security requirements.
• Support MLOps workflows, data pipelines, and model deployment and monitoring on AWS and on-premises technologies.
• Help define RAG and LLM-based product capabilities and model-governance practices, including bias documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, data management, or consulting, including experience with data and analytics products.
• 3+ years working directly with data teams, business stakeholders, and end users.
• Strong technical understanding of data and product strategies, Agile development, Scrum, Jira, project management, and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on experience writing, reviewing, and tuning SQL, Spark, and Python; familiarity with product analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau.
• United States work authorization is required, and visa sponsorship is not available. A background and drug screen are also required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in STEM or a related field.
• Experience in regulated financial services, payments, identity, or fraud analytics.
• Experience with terabyte-scale datasets, cloud migration, data science enablement, or launching new products.
• Experience with AWS, Salesforce, SQL Server, Hive, HDFS, Aerospike, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and EKS.
