What you will do
- Supervise line and hangar maintenance activities and assign work to Aircraft Maintenance Technicians and related personnel.
- Perform assigned aircraft maintenance in accordance with the Breeze General Maintenance Manual, FAA regulations, and company procedures.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Operations Control, Maintenance Planning, and other departments to resolve maintenance problems and technical delays.
- Monitor aircraft status, out-of-service time, maintenance documentation, and Maintenance Information System records.
- Verify required AMT training, equipment, materials, work turnover, safety briefings, and Foreign Object Damage prevention practices.
- Authorize overtime, vacation, and training schedules while maintaining performance and safety standards.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license with no history of infractions and recent commercial aircraft experience.
- 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience maintaining commercial aircraft.
- Must have US work authorization, a valid passport without travel restrictions, and the ability to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge.
- Must pass DOT drug testing, TSA fingerprint-based criminal history screening, and a company background check.
- Fluent English, a valid driver’s license, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and willingness to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and travel 20% of the time.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and FAR Part 121 operations.
- Experience maintaining Embraer E-Jet family aircraft.
- 2+ years in a management or leadership role.
- Experience with airline Maintenance Information Systems such as TRAX and knowledge of Safety Management System rules.
- Degree in aerospace, aviation maintenance, or business.
