Personal Injury Paralegal

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hybrid arrangement with initial in-office training and collaboration at the Houston office, followed by flexibility for remote work.

Salary: $60,000–$100,000 annually, with a potential performance or subjective bonus.

What you will do

• Manage catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases from inception through trial alongside a trial attorney.
• Organize case preparation, deadlines, discovery, defendant documentation, experts, investigators, and other litigation resources.
• Coordinate medical providers, treatment records, prognosis information, experts, and medical illustrations.
• Communicate with clients, employers, family members, witnesses, experts, and other third parties.
• Prepare discovery responses, trial materials, exhibits, witness information, and medical evidence.
• Support attorneys through trial and anticipate preparation needs before key deadlines.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a litigation or trial paralegal, preferably in plaintiffs’ personal injury or catastrophic injury litigation.
• Strong understanding of litigation from investigation through trial and experience with complex, document-intensive cases.
• Knowledge of discovery, medical records, expert coordination, and trial preparation.
• Exceptional organization, time management, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize independently.
• Strong client communication skills, including communication with seriously injured clients and their families.
• Ability to work in the Houston office initially for training and collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with catastrophic injury, wrongful death, trucking, oilfield, or dram shop matters.
