Director of Construction Management (Power Delivery)

Location: United States; national travel required across the Northeast, Southeast, West, and other U.S. markets.

What you will do

• Build, mentor, and expand the Construction Management team.
• Lead national business development, proposal development, client presentations, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Direct execution of EPC and traditional or standalone construction management projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Own P&L performance and drive year-over-year growth.
• Develop construction management best practices, reporting tools, and cost-effective delivery processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of construction management experience in the Power Delivery industry, including EPC project execution.
• Experience leading teams and managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects across multiple regions.
• Strong knowledge of transmission, distribution, substation, underground, and renewable construction practices.
• Experience managing P&L and established industry connections supporting business growth.
• Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and national travel capabilities.

Nice to have

• Regulatory compliance and permitting experience across multiple jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of emerging power delivery construction technologies and trends.
• PMP or equivalent certification.
