General Manager - Transmission & Distribution (Power Infrastructure)

Location: Pembroke, New Hampshire, or South Windsor, Connecticut; travel to project sites is required

What you will do

• Direct regional transmission and distribution operations and execute strategic initiatives with senior leadership.
• Lead Regional Managers, Project Managers, and operational teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, profitably, and to high quality standards.
• Support complex project issue resolution, lead troubled-project recovery, and assume project management responsibilities when required.
• Develop utility, industrial, renewable energy, and infrastructure client relationships and support regional business growth.
• Lead preconstruction efforts, RFP pursuits, bid strategies, execution planning, staffing, and resource planning.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, cash flow, backlog, revenue projections, profitability, safety, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field with 10+ years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Proven leadership experience in transmission and distribution construction, utility infrastructure projects, or related EPC programs.
• Experience managing regional operations, project portfolios, multidisciplinary teams, budgets, forecasting, cash flow, backlog, and profitability.
• Strong knowledge of transmission and distribution construction methods, project delivery, resource planning, risk management, preconstruction, and RFP pursuits.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, and relationship-building skills, plus Microsoft Office experience.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and willingness to travel as required.

• Familiarity with project controls, estimating, and job cost tracking software.
• Advanced industry certifications, licenses, or credentials.
