Electrical Distribution Project Manager/Team Lead (Power Delivery)

What you will do

• Lead overhead and underground electrical distribution projects through scope development, execution, closeout, quality control, scheduling, and budget management.
• Build, develop, supervise, and mentor a local distribution team of engineers, designers, CADD technicians, and support staff.
• Manage utility and developer client relationships and coordinate project teams across the organization.
• Lead QA/QC activities in accordance with hirify.global’s Quality Management Systems.
• Support proposals, hiring plans, business development, and national client opportunities.
• Oversee related project components such as permitting, right-of-way acquisition, public involvement, and construction management when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 7 years of related experience, including a minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in an applicable engineering field.
• At least 4 years of electrical distribution design experience.
• Experience with MS Office and MS Project; Access experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership, client management, staff supervision, and business development skills.

Nice to have

• PMP certification and experience hiring staff for an engineering consulting firm.
• Experience with data center, renewable energy, reliability, grid modernization, and conversion projects.
• Experience with CYM, ETAP, Milsoft, PLS-CADD, O-Calc, SpidaCalc, Pole Foreman, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or ArcGIS.
• Experience preparing cost estimates, bills of materials, technical papers, and industry presentations.
