Power Market Sector Leader (Power Delivery)

Location: San Diego, Irvine, or Los Angeles, California, United States. US citizenship or permanent resident status (Green Card) is required.

Salary: $168,000–$250,000 per year, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Lead client management, business development, market strategy, and pursuit activities for power planning and engineering services.
• Identify project opportunities, champion pursuits, develop capture strategies, and support contract wins.
• Plan, direct, and monitor large multidisciplinary or technically complex projects while taking on appropriate project management assignments.
• Build relationships with senior client leaders, industry counterparts, professional associations, and community organizations.
• Coordinate staffing, recruiting, work sharing, talent management, and staff development across the market sector.
• Monitor sector performance, profitability, risk management, project quality, QA/QC, process improvements, and technical service development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of industry experience.
• Experience developing and managing strategic marketing programs for planning or engineering services.
• Experience managing client relationships, program or project pursuits, recruiting, career paths, and professional growth.
• Visible participation in industry associations and the ability to collaborate with regional and business group leadership.
• US citizenship or permanent resident status is required due to client contract requirements.

Nice to have

• California Professional Engineer registration or other engineering registration.
• Master’s degree.
• PMP certification.
