Focus on interpreting engineering drawings, assembling complex electronic components, inspecting completed work, and supporting high-volume Lean manufacturing operations.
Location: Fort Walton Beach, Florida, United States; onsite, 1st or 2nd shift

What you will do
- Perform electronic and hybrid assembly of components, printed circuit boards, cable assemblies, and subassemblies using drawings, wiring lists, visual aids, and assembly standards.
- Complete fine soldering, touch-up work, jumper wires, through-hole and magnet-wire assembly using a microscope.
- Assemble and finish components through crimping, stripping, riveting, bonding, chemical conversion, painting, encapsulation, conformal coating, and SMT operations.
- Perform wire bonding, ribbon attaching, component preparation, sealing, marking, and inspection for complex hybrid assemblies.
- Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, torque wrenches, and automated machinery while checking completed work against drawings.
- Cross-train on at least two products and support safety, quality, 5S, KPI, standard work, and problem-solving initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent and a fine soldering certificate or equivalent experience.
- Ability to interpret production and engineering prints, wiring diagrams, assembly aids, and written instructions.
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, arm-hand steadiness, accurate color vision, near vision, and depth perception.
- Basic computer skills, good reading comprehension, and the ability to work in a moderate- to high-paced, high-volume environment.
- Access to U.S. export-controlled information and compliance with ITAR and applicable U.S. Government eligibility and security-investigation requirements are required.
Nice to have
- IPC/J-STD soldering experience.
- Experience with resistance welders, sanders, engraving, magnetic assembly, part marking, packaging, or assembly rework.
- Experience completing production paperwork, closing work orders, and determining operation sequences from sketches or oral instructions.
