Assembly Trainee - 1st & 2nd Shift Available (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: 93 Lexington Dr, Laconia, NH 03246, USA; onsite, full-time

Available shifts: 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM; 2nd shift, Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM–1:45 AM, with a $1.00 shift differential.

STS Aerospace, part of hirify.global, manufactures rigid and flexible metal tubing and assemblies for aerospace hydraulic, fuel, pneumatic, waste, and exhaust systems.

What you will do

• Fabricate, assemble, install, salvage, and repair rigid and flexible tube assemblies, fixtures, equipment, and related products.
• Prepare hoses for assembly by removing rubber, buffing ends, connecting fittings, and applying RTV.
• Set up and operate abrasive, squaring, deburring, sizing, swaging, and crimping equipment.
• Read blueprints, method sheets, process sheets, policies, and procedures to manufacture metal tubes.
• Measure dimensions, radii, contours, clearances, thread lead, wall thickness, and other specifications.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and procedural quality tests on materials, assemblies, components, and finished products.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training is acceptable.
• Ability to use hand tools, operate fabrication equipment, read technical documentation, and perform precise measurements.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, handle materials, and regularly lift up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds is required.
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are required.
• Reliable, regular, and punctual attendance is required.
