Senior Director, Proposal Development (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States; up to 25% travel required.

Salary: $134,600–$249,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and oversee business development strategies, pipeline reporting, opportunity databases, and information-gathering systems.
• Advise stakeholders on pursuit probability, estimated ROI, win themes, risks, and overall proposal strategy.
• Review RFPs to identify operational requirements and coordinate responses across business areas.
• Create proposal plans, timelines, compliance matrices, and other project control tools.
• Write and edit corporate organization, history, qualifications, executive summary, and other proposal sections with subject matter experts.
• Lead proposal reviews, resolve identified issues, and ensure consistent messaging, ownership, and handoffs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of combined proposal management and/or business development experience.
• Experience within a managed healthcare or behavioral health organization.
• Previous management experience covering hiring, training, work assignment, and staff performance management.
• Ability to collaborate with senior management, subject matter experts, and cross-functional business units.
