Production Supervisor (Industrial and Specialty Gases)

Location: White Plains, New York, United States — onsite at a retail shop. Second shift, Monday–Friday, 12:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m.

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year.

What you will do

• Supervise at least two plant production associates and coordinate daily production activities.
• Manage gas cylinder processing, ultrasonic testing, inventory levels, and production records.
• Promote safety and compliance with FDA, DOT, OSHA, EPA, SAFECORE, and other applicable requirements.
• Assign work based on customer demand, stock levels, and employee expertise.
• Improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and crew efficiency.
• Train and cross-train employees, resolve operational issues, and support capital investment planning.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of leadership experience in a distribution environment.
• Intermediate proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use production metrics.
• Ability to complete handwritten compliance documentation accurately and support product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 60 pounds and move up to 125 pounds using material-handling equipment.

Nice to have

• Technical experience with compressed gases, gas analysis, and gas laboratory equipment.
• Experience using SAP.
