Technical Account Manager (Malaysia) (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Manage daily customer service operations covering order placement, complaints, technical support, and initial inquiries.
• Provide technical advice, practical information, and tools to customers.
• Identify and interpret customer requirements and align them with business unit capabilities.
• Collaborate with Sales Account Managers, Production Managers, and Senior Scientists on technical customer matters.
• Attend trade and technical shows and deliver technical presentations.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, benchmarking, and professional societies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant life science field, such as cell biology, immunology, or molecular biology.
• Fluent English and Chinese, both verbally and in writing, required.
• Strong technical presentation skills.
• Customer-focused, proactive, and action-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• 1–2 years of commercial experience or previous industry experience in a similar role is advantageous.
