Senior Product Manager/Health Policy SME (Value-Based Care)

Location: Hybrid, with two days onsite each week at the Woodlawn, Maryland office; remote work must be performed in the United States. Candidates must reside and work in the United States and must have lived in the country for 3 of the last 5 years.

What you will do

• Maintain the product roadmap and collaborate with clients on prioritization and capacity planning.
• Translate healthcare policy, regulations, and program requirements into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze value-based care initiatives, care delivery models, reimbursement structures, and policy frameworks.
• Conduct product analysis sessions, user research, usability testing, work group calls, and stakeholder feedback activities.
• Work with agile sprint teams to implement and accept user stories and deliver incremental working software.
• Develop agile documentation, oversee quality assurance activities, and manage change requests.

Requirements

• Must reside and work in the United States.
• Must have lived in the United States for at least 3 of the last 5 years and be able to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of experience in software agile delivery with sprint teams.
• At least 5 years of experience as a product owner, business analyst, or product analyst, including requirements capture and business process modeling.
• At least 3 years of healthcare IT experience involving value-based care models, alternative payment models, or population health initiatives.
• Experience with agile collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence, plus strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAFe and relevant agile certifications such as PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, or SAFe POPM.
• Knowledge of accountable care organizations, bundled payments, quality measurement, and population health management.
• Experience with payment reform, care coordination, quality reporting, CMS innovation models, or Medicare and Medicaid payment transformation.
• Experience with public-facing civic technology or other government contract projects.
