Electrical Engineer III (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of electrical and electronic systems for aerospace and defense projects.
• Lead circuit card assembly development and implement electrical wiring design practices where applicable.
• Oversee testing, validation, integration, troubleshooting, and debugging of electronic systems and components.
• Develop technical designs, test plans, test results, and other engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and lead design reviews with expert technical input.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous engineering process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering or a related role.
• Advanced proficiency in electrical and electronic design and validation techniques, engineering principles, and Computer-Aided Engineering tools.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary design and development teams.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic system regulations, including EWIS, FMEA, and SSA concepts.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive electrical CAD experience, circuit modeling, simulation, and system analysis.
• Experience with Electrical Load Analysis, digital or analog circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
• Knowledge of aerospace and defense standards, EMC, EMI, HIRF, and indirect effects of lightning.
