What you will do

  • Serve as the Responsible Engineer for flight engine electronics and instrumentation.
  • Design, build, test, and troubleshoot circuit boards and engine control electronics.
  • Write software for engine controllers, electric throttle drives, and thrust vector control systems.
  • Procure, calibrate, install, and troubleshoot engine instrumentation, sensors, and avionics.
  • Design wiring harnesses, mount avionics, and create electronics schematics, CAD models, and assembly drawings.
  • Develop test programs, analyze experimental data, optimize designs, and collaborate with mechanical, aerospace, and controls engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in electronics design, development, fabrication, assembly, or testing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and communicate transparently.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, refugee, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

Nice to have

  • Experience with flight engine electronics, rocket systems, electronics and circuit-board design, or hands-on engineering.
  • Coding experience with MATLAB, C++, JavaScript, C, or Arduino.
  • CAD experience, preferably with NX.
  • Familiarity with aerospace safety and reliability practices.
  • Experience in a startup or rapid-development environment.
