Salary: $85,000–$115,000 per year, plus potential equity and benefits.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems for autonomous aircraft, including power distribution, avionics interfaces, harnesses, sensors, communications, and embedded electronics.
  • Create schematics, wiring diagrams, harness documentation, and electrical integration drawings for prototype and production hardware.
  • Support electrical architecture, component selection, system integration, hardware bring-up, validation, environmental testing, and flight-test operations.
  • Perform electrical analysis, troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, and integration testing.
  • Develop test plans, validation procedures, and qualification activities for mission-critical hardware.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, avionics, software, systems engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and flight-test teams on production readiness and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 1–3 years of professional electrical engineering experience in aerospace, autonomous systems, robotics, automotive, defense, or another high-performance hardware industry.
  • Experience designing and integrating electrical systems for complex electromechanical platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, lab debugging, electrical testing, troubleshooting, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
  • Knowledge of power systems, signal integrity, embedded hardware, sensors, communications interfaces, avionics integration, EMC/EMI, grounding, and reliability-focused design.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship; visa sponsorship and visa transfers are unavailable.

Nice to have

  • Experience with autonomous aircraft, UAVs, eVTOL platforms, robotics systems, or flight hardware development.
  • Hands-on mechanical prototyping experience, including 3D printing or laser cutting.
  • Familiarity with FAA certification environments, aerospace standards, or regulated development processes.
