Network Engineer

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; on-site. Occasional travel of up to 10% is required.

Salary: $92,000–$195,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain the WDP System’s network infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Configure network devices and implement software-defined networking solutions.
• Establish security controls, including firewalls and network segmentation.
• Optimize routing and traffic flows, monitor performance, and troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Automate network configurations and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Perform capacity planning, support disaster recovery planning, evaluate emerging technologies, and collaborate with IT teams on application requirements.

Requirements

• Active SECRET Security Clearance is required.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Professional English proficiency is required.
• Bachelor’s degree and experience matching the level: 0–3 years for Junior, 4–7 years for Journeyman, or 8+ years for Senior.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and strong communication skills.
• Relevant certifications depend on level, including CEH, Cloud+, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP, SecurityX/CASP+, CCNA, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, or GFACT.
