TL;DR
Electronics Technician II (2nd Shift) (Aerospace) (electronic testing and manufacturing): Testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying electronic and electromechanical products and systems with an accent on schematic interpretation, automated testing, calibration, and failure analysis. Focus on operating specialized test equipment, performing voltage and impedance calculations, documenting non-conformances, and supporting aerospace manufacturing quality requirements.

Location: Lynnwood, Washington, United States; onsite, 2nd shift Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–11:00pm

Salary: $32.32–$41.77 per hour

Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical power, sensing, fluid, and other systems and components for aerospace and defense applications.

What you will do

  • Test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic and electromechanical products, parts, equipment, and systems.
  • Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, work orders, and functional and acceptance test procedures.
  • Perform automated and manual testing using equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, multimeters, flying probe, ICT, thermal cycle, burn-in, and vibration testing systems.
  • Calibrate and adjust units and perform calculations involving voltage, resistance, current, impedance, amplification, flow rate, mass, and mechanical dimensions.
  • Create non-conformance reports, document test results and initial root-cause investigations, and maintain system logs and equipment manuals.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety practices and support 5S, KPI, standard work, and problem-solving initiatives.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
  • Associate degree in Electronic or Mechanical Technology, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience or recognized education.
  • Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting methods, circuitry, or mechanical characteristics relevant to the assigned area.
  • Ability to learn new test software and equipment, identify abnormal equipment and product conditions, and work across multiple software systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication in English.
  • Manual and finger dexterity, precise coordinated movements, and ability to lift up to 35 pounds and push up to 100 pounds.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, manufacturing costs, and distribution practices.
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software.
