Manager, Credit

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, US, 63146; onsite role.

What you will do

• Guide Sales Partners on credit matters and support sales to new and existing customers.
• Manage the flow of credit files, review new customer applications, and approve initial terms, credit limits, and temporary increases.
• Review bids, General Contractor orders, contracts, customer forms, portals, and outside leasing transactions.
• Assess the creditworthiness of customers with older open orders and oversee account consolidation, write-offs, and bankruptcy paperwork.
• Coordinate with the Collections Manager and external leasing and collection firms on credit issues.
• Prepare monthly management reports and schedules for the financial packet, approve employee timesheets and time off, and implement procedural improvements.

Requirements

• Experience managing customer credit processes and reviewing credit files.
• Ability to evaluate creditworthiness, approve credit terms and limits, and review contractual terms and conditions.
• Ability to prepare monthly management reports and financial packet schedules.
• Ability to manage customer account consolidation and communicate with external leasing and collection firms.
• Ability to train Sales Partners on credit procedures and provide ongoing guidance.
