Credit & Collection Specialist

Location: Monterrey, Mexico; onsite

What you will do

• Manage large, sophisticated, and high-risk customer accounts as the primary contact for account issues, documentation requests, and relationship management.
• Resolve past-due invoices, review aging, follow up through customer portals, and complete collections according to contractual payment terms.
• Review credit hold orders, assess risk with internal partners, and support timely order release decisions.
• Provide mentorship on complex and non-standard credit and collections issues.
• Prepare and analyze revenue, unbilled revenue, deferred revenue, discounts, and collections reports.
• Improve credit and collections workflows, support acquisition integration, and contribute to audits, month-end close, and internal control activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance; Accounting is preferred.
• Experience in Credit & Collections or related areas such as Cash Management, Credit Management, Customer Support, or Collections.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially intermediate to advanced Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF, and COUNT functions.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, strong communication, and effective collaboration with customers and internal partners.
• Proactive, results-oriented, independent, and accountable approach to work.
