Pest Technician l

Location: Manhattan, Kansas, United States

Compensation: $1,500 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Inspect residential properties for pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved chemicals, baits, and traps in accordance with safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention and recommend measures to reduce future infestations.
• Build customer relationships, schedule and confirm appointments, support sales to existing customers, and develop new business.
• Maintain pest control equipment and operate a company-provided service vehicle safely.
• Follow federal, state, and local pest control and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Must work in the Manhattan, Kansas area and perform in-person residential service duties.
• High school diploma or GED, related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid state driver’s license and successful motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Clean-shaven face required so respirators can seal properly.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday and weekends as needed.
• Basic reading, writing, verbal communication, and math skills; ability to follow product-mixing instructions.
