Pest Control Technician ($1500 Sign on Bonus)

Location: Manhattan, Kansas, United States; onsite field work serving residential properties.

Sign-on bonus: $1,500.

What you will do

• Inspect residential properties for pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved chemicals, baits, traps, and other pest control products in accordance with safety standards.
• Educate customers on prevention methods and recommend ways to reduce future infestations.
• Build customer relationships, schedule appointments, support sales to existing customers, and expand product offerings.
• Maintain, stock, and safely operate pest control equipment and a company-provided service vehicle.
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations and safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid state driver's license and successful motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to obtain licenses and certificates required by applicable regulations; required licensing costs are covered.
• Availability Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and outdoors, climb, crawl, kneel, balance, and use ladders or scaffolding.
• Clean-shaven face is required so respiratory protection can seal properly; ability to wear OSHA-compliant PPE is required.
