Scheduling Assistant (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Translate customer orders into sequential production schedules and plan workflow across departments.
• Analyze production specifications, capacity data, processes, tools, and staffing requirements.
• Plan operation sequences and lead times to support completion dates.
• Coordinate with department supervisors and internal and external personnel to monitor project status and maintain services.
• Expedite delayed operations and adjust schedules for unforeseen conditions.
• Prepare production reports, materials lists, purchase orders, and scheduling communications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of scheduling or administrative experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and walk, stand, bend, and lift for extended periods; may lift up to 50 pounds.
