Production Scheduler (Manufacturing)

Location: Longview, TX, United States; full-time, onsite role

What you will do

• Gather, file, and report production control records, material usage, and inventory information.
• Create work orders, enter purchase orders, and file completed purchase orders.
• Monitor customer orders, production control requests, and posted production schedules.
• Expedite supply chain products and troubleshoot scheduling or supply issues through resolution.
• Calculate production rates and identify opportunities for improvement and corrective action.
• Coordinate with sales, production, suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to meet customer expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Basic mathematics proficiency and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Initiative, follow-through, and professionalism in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs, climb, stoop, and sit or stand for most of the work schedule; periodic manufacturing-facility visits involve heat, cold, dust, loud noise, and chemical fumes.
