Supply Chain Performance Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland, United States. The role combines office-based work with field and production activities and requires up to 50% travel.

Salary: $82,900–$134,300 per year.

What you will do

• Maintain and implement standard work procedures and business processes.
• Identify process improvement needs and apply lean methodology to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Validate supplier capabilities, capacity, and quality systems.
• Address short-term supplier performance issues using 8D, SCAR, and rapid continuous improvement.
• Lead supplier continuous improvement events and participate in launch readiness programs.
• Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance while collaborating with buyers, category managers, and other departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• At least three years of experience in supply chain or a related field.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Ability to work across office, field, and production environments, including standing, walking, moderate lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
